It is still early days at Manchester United under new manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer but there are clear indications that some players might be in their last season under the new manager. Belgian midfielder and one of Jose Mourinho’s most trusted lieutenant, Maroune Fellaini might just be coming to the end of his Manchester United career.
The 31 year old has not been part of Solksjaer first eleven since joining the club and doesn’t look like he will feature in his team any time soon. The manager has not made any statement regarding Fellaini future at the club but the signs are just not in the former Everton midfielder’s favour. Things are shaping up to work more for the youngsters coming through the academy than first team players that are not convinced yet that they deserve to start. The likes of Angel Gomes has had more playing time than Fellaini in the last two games which is a clear indication of what is to come.
Reports have it that Fenarbache is monitoring the situation of the player and will swoop for him once it’s clear he’s not having a future at the club. That is expected to happen either in the January transfer window or by the summer.
