Manchester united and Netherlands international Daley Blind has revealed that the confidence in the dressing room is growing and the team is in high spirits following their recent premier league victory on Monday according to reports in the Squawka.
Jose Mourinho’s men grabbed their fifth straight victory in all competitions on 26th of December at Old Trafford in a premier league game against relegation threatened team Sunderland football club. The red devils secured a 3-1 victory over David Moyes’s team as they continue their race to break into the top four of the premier league table.
26-year old Daley Blind who opened scoring for Manchester united before the end of the first half as well as getting his first goal of the new season went on to disclose that the team is in a good shape and in high spirits as the new year approaches.
The versatile player admitted that the red devils struggled a little to get the ball around in the second half but after Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s second goal, the game became a lot easier for them and he also admitted that the opposition team didn’t create many opportunities so it was a great performance from the red devils.
The player also said the squad wasn’t happy not to have kept a clean sheet because they controlled the game but he added that they got a good result and everyone in the dressing room is feeling confident and ready to move forward in the New Year.
