As Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford for their premier league fixture today, Jose Mourinho has charged his Manchester United team to wake up to the task and get the needed points in the game. United come into the game with back to back draws against lowly place opponents like Crystal Palace and Southampton and this is a game they are expected to bounce back. The team is currently on low spirit as result have not been as expected.

Mourinho who has been under pressure for the poor performance his team is chunning out this season and as game passed by, the chances of finishing in a top four keep dwindling.

‘I don’t think we need a miracle. We need a good run of results,’ said Mourinho, ‘The target has changed but it changed in the sense of let’s try to close the distance as much as we can and try to be by the end of December very close to these positions. I was expecting difficulties this season, but my target is still the top four.’

Jose Mourinho as a manager has a very good record against Arsenal and Mancester United as a club also have a good record against Arsenal at Old Trafford. United will be backing on this to end Arsenal current 19 games unbeaten run. The club will however be missing the presence of some first team players like Alexis Sanchez who will not have the opportunity of facing his former club.

A win against Arsenal will put United five points within reach of their opponent.
