Manchester united club legend Paddy Crerand has disclosed that he is impressed with the flourishing combination between Manchester United’s summer signings Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovich according to reports in Manutd.com.
The duo who arrived at Old Trafford in the summer following the appointment of Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho have developed a perfect understanding in red devils attack line with Paul Pogba creating four assists in the 35-year olds last nine goals with the lasts coming in Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over sunderland on boxing day when Pogba’s pass met Zlatan Ibrahimovich who slotted home to grab his eleventh goal in his last ten games for the red devils.
Paddy Crerand wrote in the United Review:
“I enjoy watching the both of them play and they have formed a great combination which has been fantastic for the team. Zlatan knows when and where to run and Paul knows how to find him and that’s very good for the team”.
However, Paddy Crerand has praised the duos individual capabilities especially the attitude of Frenchman Paul Pogba and Zlatan’s recent scoring form. Paddy Crerand who lifted the European cup in 1968 revealed that world record fee united paid for Pogba isn’t affecting the player instead he is enjoying every bit of the game.
Paddy Crerand also admitted that Ibrahimovich is proving why he is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world even at 35 hinting that the Swede derives in playing especially the way he holds and controls the ball. He also hoped that the swede will continue scoring claiming that Jose Mourinho made the right choice is bringing the 35-year old to Old Trafford.
